Returns and Exchanges Policy
We expect that you will love your Babes in the Shade product as much as we do. If, however, you are not completely satisfied with the quality of the product, we will happily provide a refund or exchange. Items must be returned (to PO Box 295, Clayfield, QLD 4011) within 30 days of purchase, in original and unused condition (no deodorant marks) with tags still attached. We reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange if the item isn’t in its original condition. Please complete the returns form (there is a QR code on the card sent with your order) or please print one off here explaining the reason for the return, or the item you would like to exchange. If you require an exchange urgently, simply order the new size online and choose the express option. Then return the other item to our PO box requesting a refund. We do not refund any postage paid. REFUNDS ARE NOT AVAILABLE ON SALE ITEMS however we can offer an exchange or store credit.
If you believe your item is faulty please email us at email@example.com before returning your item and we will decide whether to replace, repair or refund depending on the circumstances. We will only exchange or refund within 6 months of purchase and only if we deem it to be a genuine manufacturing fault.
Babes in the Shade has free postage to any Australian destination for all orders over $50. Standard delivery for orders under $50 is $8. Once items have been paid for, they will be dispatched within 2 working days. During our peak months, we try to get all orders placed before 11am sent that afternoon. Babes in the Shade uses regular Australia Post. Please check the Australia Post website for expected delivery times. If you require an item urgently, we are able to send via Express Post which is a next day delivery for capital cities only. Delivery times are uncertain due to the pandemic and flooding. The cost of Express Post is $10.
We offer free contactless pickup from our office at Clayfield. You can choose this option at checkout and we will email you with our address details when your parcel is ready for collection. PLEASE contact us before you come to get your locker number and code as our office could be unattended. Parcels can be collected at any time as the lockers are outside our back door.
We can deliver overseas for a flat fee of $20. Please note that there may be customs duties or taxes incurred upon arrival in your country. We take no responsibility for these additional costs or time delays incurred as a result. As every country has different laws please check this before placing your order. You will not be charged Australian GST (goods and services tax).
Please note that we don't deliver to UK and EU countries due to recent VAT changes. We can deliver to an Australian address of friends and/or family.
